Great. Teachers genuinely care about students. You’ll never find a perfect school, but you get close with Hoover.

We are new to the district, with a first grader at Hoover. Both last year and this year have been terrific -- amazing teachers, very involved new principal, and parents who truly care. Diversity is on the rise, and the location is pretty much idyllic. We love that there are no buses -- this forces more of a community feeling. My child LOVES school and is learning at a tremendous pace. Spanish class starts in first grade, the lunches you can buy are healthy and the PTA and principal are extremely communicative. Honestly, I have zero complaints and love this school!

The best elementary school in Mt Lebanon. Smallest school, smallest class size, awesome experience for kids and parents.

Fantastic school! Mt Lebanon has one of the very best school districts in the state, and Hoover is the smallest of the elementary schools in the district with just 2 classes per grade, and a great (low) student-teacher ratio. It's just a great community.
