Jefferson Middle School

My experience as well as my child's with this school has been very positive. Having come from another school district that pales in comparison to this one, I have a perspective that possibly is different than others commenting. Mt Lebanon schools provide a top tier education and experience for the children. Try to form your own opinion by looking at all reviews of this school on as many websites as you can before forming an opinion. Most people who do reviews do so out of anger and frustration over a specific bad experience and let emotions drive the review. People who are pleased with schools typically don't take the time to give a good review like I am. Do your research first and then decide. You cannot go wrong with sending your child to this school.

It has been a rough school year for Jefferson Middle School. Parents do it all at this school. They need the help of the teaching staff if they are willing to go the extra mile.

I do not believe the faculty here is the most friendly. The students appear to be able to get away with anything.

Most of the teachers are older and near retirement, or so it seems. May have been great teachers before, but great at boredom now. There needs to be some more younger experienced teachers. Also there is a lot of student issues among this school in the past year or so. I don't believe any of the staff does anything about it because they want to hide it, especially the administration there.
