Shaler Area High School

Abysmal. Unsure of how any student who graduates from this district is prepared for higher education. If they are, it is DESPITE their high school experience, not because of it.

It is super good. I learned so very muh. I have since graduated and now work at McDonald's. I have a very good career being a manager at McDonald's. I can finally support my kids I had while in highschool. They taught me a lot in sex Ed The most important thing I learned in sex Ed was to use protection. I obviously didn't and now have kids to support. My parents took care of them till now. I can finally be the parent I never wanted to be, but I have to by law. At least I wasn't on of the 9 out of 10 kids who drop out according to the other review. That person is wrong. Go to a public school in the city and see how much better it is. that's right its worse. Shaler is great. Don't listen to anyone but me. Anyone who does not like shaler can eat poop. I love it it is great. Don't @me. Go shaler!

I have never seen a school, with students that are so disrespectful in my career. The kids within the Shaler school system, get no organization, learn nothing of ethical boundaries, learn nothing of physical boundaries, there sex ed program promotes sexual intercourse. The teachers are underpaid, understaffed. They deal with bullying wrong. separation without integration or ethical approach. Nothing of the sort is seen elsewhere. This school needs an ENTIRE REBOOT. Think before you move to shaler school, your kids will not have the learning of interaction that they need. They will become bullies, or the bully. Regardless of what studies show, I have seen first hand, 9 out of 10 kids dropout or never attend college.
