This school is awful. There are some good kids here, but it's filled with so many thugs that it is a dangerous place to send your child. Their standards are low, so the honors and ap courses are the kind of work that regular students would be doing at an average school. I hate that I have to send my daughter here. If I hadn't lost my job a couple of years ago she would be going to Bonner Prendie.

It is a large school, nearly four thousand kids, and there are a large number of unmotivated kids with low test scores which give the school bad scores every year, however if you are an involved parent and your kid is a motivated student Upper Darby High School has a lot to offer and you can come out well prepared for college or your next step in life. It is all what you want to get out of it (what classes you take, what clubs/sports you participate in, the relationships you form....).

Teachers change grades so kids will pass. my kid had a 54% one day before final exam, he scored a 64% on the final and some how ended up with a 70%??????? If thats not bad enough they sent papers home the second week of august that school starts the week before labor day. and trying to get in touch with school councelors HAHAHA they have auto reply emails letting everone they will be back to school in late august, REALLY??

Teachers really care and the students are great. College bound kids are welcomed here. Diversity is widespread, just like in the universities.
