I am an undergrad student at the school and while there are good aspects to the school, there are also a lot of bad ones that could outweigh the good. First, most of the teachers I have encountered have been very knowledgeable in their subject area and most have a good attitude. However, I have, so far, had a couple who, while still very knowledgeable, are not the person you would want teaching you child. This is because of their attitude. But above that, I have seen teachers who are not skilled in their discipline and aren't personable. The current administration of the building is by far one of the worst I have seen or heard about. The Principal and Assistant Principal are brothers, coincidence? I think not. They are both very unprofessional in the way the act and the things they say. I don't think either one of them should be running a school. I have had doors slammed in my face by them and been spoken to as though they are better than sliced bread. I would not recommended this administration to any school in the country. Overall, the school has it's ups and downs and the students are great.

I graduated from WCHS. The academic programs were challenging, the teachers were kind and helpful, and there were extra curricular activities for all interests. Overall I found it to be an accepting and wonderful place.

I attended WCHS. Most of my teachers were knowledgeable and took their jobs very seriously. After graduation, I went to college and found that I was better prepared than many of my fellow classmates.

I think Waynesburg Central High School could use a complete overhaul with stronger leadership and more challenging academic programs.
