My daughter is having a wonderful time with this school, as parent I am happy, and teachers are very great as well.

14 people with complaints rating this school! My Daughter and her friends have done wonderful. Mine is a Nurse practitioner by the age of 26, her friend a PA, many kids have gone on to higher degrees. Teachers are very caring and great.

The crossing guard Janice by the school really looks out for the kids, and my son with ADHD got teachers that handled him way better than his former school. They are under-rated in my opinion and while yes, you may have one or two not so great teachers and students, you will find that even in the highest rated school districts. No school is perfect, but this one should be rated higher than it is.

West Mifflin School District has great elementary schools with some of the best teachers I have met! That being said, both the middle and high schools are a nightmare! Very disorganized lessons and curriculum. The teachers and staff at both schools behave more like students themselves than authority figures and mentors. They encourage "clicks", bullying and are very lazy when it comes to disciplining kids within these "clicks". Most teachers, especially in the high school, are alumni and are friends with parents, so lots of playing favorites going on. I would not recommend anyone enrolling their children in WMASD past grade 5.
