Pecan Grove Plantation Country Club offers 27 holes of golf outside a stately clubhouse, which acts as the headquarters for the community's amenities. Residents work out at the well equipped fitness center and beat the Texas heat in the large swimming pool. Tennis players will find great facilities for their games-- six fenced courts and a staff of pro instructors. Pecan Grove and Belin Parks are also spacious, with plenty of room for baseball and soccer fields, as well as a playground. The community straddles two school districts, Fort Bend and Lamar. Both are ranked in the top ten percent of Texas districts by several education rating services.
There are always a number of events going on in the Pecan Grove community, thanks to the country club and the homeowner’s association. The club hosts a number of activities, such as weekly yoga, trivia nights, karaoke nights, and cooking classes for children and adults. Kids have a junior tennis clinic twice a week, as well. The homeowner’s association plans several seasonal events throughout the year. There are active clubs in the community, too, such as a Women’s Club and a sewing club, among many more.
