Promenade

Promenade is a subdivision of single-family homes on the west side of South San Francisco. It is ideally located near public transit, major thoroughfares, and commercial conveniences. Home prices in Promenade range close to South San Francisco’s average price and a bit lower than in San Francisco. Promenade is a block away from a BART train station served by the Red and Yellow lines. It’s also on El Camino Real, so commuting throughout the Bay Area is fairly easy, and daily errands like shopping can be quickly done right across the street. Public schools in the area are administered to by the South San Francisco Unified School District. Alta Loma Middle School’s campus is adjacent to Promenade while Buri Buri Elementary is four blocks away and El Camino High School is three blocks from the community’s main entrance. The South San Francisco park district maintains several nice parks near Promenade. Alta Loma Park runs along the community’s western side and has a playground, baseball fields, tennis, and basketball courts. Dining and entertainment options line El Camino Real in either direction from the community.
