River Forest Manor

River Forest Manor is a neighborhood in the southwest corner of Elmwood Park, bordered by the Des Plaines River, Jerome Huppert Woods, and West North Avenue. River Forest Manor is known for larger homes and tree-lined streets, and West North Avenue, running along the southern border of the neighborhood, is home to restaurants, cafes, and markets. River Forest Manor is a walkable neighborhood with plenty of nearby amenities, and residents here also have convenient access to downtown Chicago on the Milwaukee District/West Line from the Elmwood Park station. Elmwood Elementary School, Elmwood Junior High School and Elm Middle School are located in the neighborhood, and Elmwood High School is just west of River Forest Manor on West Fullerton Avenue.
