Friday Night Fun

Rosedale has no shortage of option to keep you busy on a Friday night. While the city nightlife is only a short drive away, there are lots of theaters and local haunts to make sure your weekend gets off to the best start. The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Austin and the Paradox Players are both close to the neighborhood and offer residents access to some of Austin's famed theater and music scene. If you're in the mood to experience art, there are a few centrally located galleries that showcase some of the neighborhood's best artists. Most of the nightlife features dive bars or sports bars, so you can catch a game and enjoy a night out with friends.

The Perfect Sunday

Start it off with brunch on Burnet Street. The Rosedale Neighborhood Association plans plenty of events through the year including July 4th festivities, Halloween parties, and all sorts of holiday parties. They also encourage members of the community to host their own events and maintain the community spirit. Ramsey Park is also a great place to spend a quiet Sunday. Located in the heart of the neighborhood, it hosts a swimming pool, tennis courts, two playgrounds, and sporting facilities. It's a great place to schedule a barbeque with friends and family and take advantage of the Texas weather.
