Rough Hollow is a community known for the outstanding lifestyle it affords its residents. Included in its repertoire are 16 community awards won in the past two years, including the MAX Grand Award for Community of the Year, as well as Best Lifestyle, Best Design, and Best Pool. The MAX Award for Best Unique Feature went to the Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina. The massive Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina features a casual restaurant, state-of-the-art fitness center, resort-style, negative-edge pool, outdoor amphitheater, a dual-car tram in its marina, a fully stocked ship shore, fuel pumps, and a huge pavilion overlooking Lake Travis, as well as a designated slip at the marina for Yacht Club members and their families. Rough Hollow thought of every possible need of its residents and added in some dream amenities. One of its amenity centers is Highland Village, a gorgeous clubhouse featuring water-themed amenities. This clubhouse includes lazy rivers, splash pads, children's pools, adult pools with a swim-up bar, an all-season pavilion with demonstration kitchen, a village green, and an open-air marketplace. Other amenities around the community include The Hills Country Club and the Lakeway Country Club for championship golfing, the World of Tennis membership, and, of course, highly coveted access to Lake Travis. Students living at Rough Hollow can attend a number of schools including Serene Hills Elementary School, Lake Travis Middle School, and Lake Travis High School.
