Summerlin has a 150-mile paved trail network winding throughout the community, creating a haven for bicyclists and runners. Kids can always find a playground nearby, as there are over 230 pocket parks in Summerlin. There are nearly 30 public and private elementary, middle, and high schools in Summerlin. Public schools are part of the Clark County School District, which is routinely considered one of the best districts in Nevada. Several of its schools are acclaimed for their innovative curricula.

There is always something to do here in Summerlin. Keeping kids fit and active is easy with youth sports leagues spanning swimming, tennis, baseball, basketball, and soccer.
