What a beautiful community this is. People complain about part of our HOA fees going to the golf courses, that is part of the beauty of our community, and it keeps the houses from all being on top of each other. Where in the world can you pay $100 per month for an HOA and get this much beauty and swimming, gym, etc.? Lord have mercy. This place is fantastic for the value. If you don't like HOA fees, move to California where they have 10 cars for every house and most people don't take care of their yards. I will gladly live in Sun City any day.

After a few months of searches--we found the perfect house--backing up to other backyards without fences. I feel like we're in a Wildlife Santuary! The deer, their fawns, the birds, the squirrels, are all happily scurrying around in the mornings, while I drink my coffee on the back patio. We love it here!! The neighbors are all very friendly. They immediately stopped by (with masks), said hello, brought over the Sun City magazine, told us about everything, and we proceeded to start meeting in the backyard for Happy Hours! What fun!Yesterday, we swam in one of the many Olympic-sized outdoor pools. The pool was beautiful, we walked in wearing masks, took out water bottles in cooler bags, and settled in on sanitized recliners. Everyone was very friendly, sporting sun hats and sunglasses, while wading in the five foot pool. We loved it! Sun City is fantastic retirement community, for over 7,000 people to enjoy, since 1996. The walking paths, the hiking trails, the golf course, the 16 tennis courts, the pickle ball courts, the woodshop--all contribute to a fantastic planned community-where residents really care about their homes! Please give this a whirl--it is, by far-- the most wonderful place we have ever lived.

We love the ideal of sun city but the comments about the construction and raising the HOA fees to cover the cost of the 3 golf courses that only 25 to 30% of the residents us Concerns us .

Sun City was the most friendly community we looked at. We have lived here 11 years and people are very nice and helpful. Our own neighborhood has had many parties and we have attended many. I just read a review where someone thought Sun City was unfriendly, and I have to totally disagree.
