Sun Groves

Sun Groves is filled with multiple parks that provide plenty of greenspace for outdoor recreation. Chuckwalla Park and Mustang Park feature courts for volleyball and basketball, as well as playgrounds, picnic areas, and open space. Mustang Park extends downward through the community and has walking paths that bridge the gap between homes. Red Rock Park is another community park that contains a playground and picnic area, and Prickly Pear Park is a smaller park that offers a volleyball court, half basketball court, playground, and more open greenspace. Just across East Riggs Road, residents can check out the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center. It features an Olympic-sized pool with several swimming lanes and a separate area with two diving boards. The center also features a large resort-style pool that has a water park, complete with water slides, splash structures, and a lazy river. Residents with children also have several school options near the community. Sun Groves is served by the Chandler Unified School District and some of the public schools in the area include Navarrete Elementary School, Basha High School, and Willie & Coy Payne Jr. High School.
