Bombarded with violation notices

I have lived here for almost six years. Peaceful neighborhood with walking trail that is beautiful. Many wonderful residents that made me fell very welcome from my first day. Nice community events that are open to all. Pool table, Shuffleboard, two Tennis courts, Horseshoes, Community dinners, Bingo. Meditation group, etc... Administration promotes residents to issue complaints on any little thing with office but not with violator. They use intimidation tactics on the weak seniors. Does not comply with ADA rules. There are a few "cliques" that do not like to accept anyone "different". They make it very difficult to try to become an active member of this HOA. Residents make up things to complain about, office accepts their complaints and issue violation letters to the offenders without any justification of said violation. Office staff is not very helpful to new residents and do not like having to go out of their way to help us.

Hi, I have lived in Suncountry for a little over 2 years. To start with- the 2 pools are wonderful as are our walking trails. However, HOA’s continue to rise ($312/mo.) and be sure to understand HOA living. The community just had a nice update -all the homes were painted in the Fall and new roofs continue to be replaced as needed. It’s a simple community that is clean and quiet. There are a lot of dog lovers walking daily throughout the Community as well. I refer to our little Community as a “diamond in the rough”. We are tucked away and are so lucky to have a 20 mph restriction throughout. Residents enjoy the ability to walk freely on the sides of the streets because there is no street parking. A quick jog onto 99 will have you quickly in Elk Grove for good shopping. And we’re so lucky to have Costco/Sam’s near by! We’re a Community of 307 homes that were built between 1989-1999 and have been well kept. We also have a Patrol which is great. My favorite part of Suncountry is that my front yard is maintenance by our landscaping crew. So most Friday’s when my windows are open I enjoy the smell of fresh cut grass and I am grateful to not have to mow! We are pretty much a zero line property setup and each resident has a concrete wall/fence. My backyard is just enough room to stretch out a bit but very manageable and private. I would recommend Suncountry to anyone while reminding them it’s HOA management...GB
