The Bird Streets

The Bird Streets is a swanky enclave of Hollywood Hills West. Its name comes from the obvious - most of its narrow, winding roads are named after local bird species. Its prestige, however, comes from its spectacular location, amazing custom homes and A-list celebrity residents. The neighborhood is entirely residential with the closest commercial activity on Sunset Blvd about a quarter mile down the hill, so the neighborhood is pretty quiet, save for the few times a new home is being built and construction trucks must lumber up and down the roads. The Bird Streets has some of the most expensive real estate in Los Angeles. The low end of the price range is more than $1 million and the high end can go into the tens of millions of dollars. The views of LA get better the higher up the hillside and the price tags go higher accordingly. For dining and entertainment, there are world famous bars and world class restaurants just minutes away along the Sunset Strip and Santa Monica Blvd.
