Great Area to Live in Kendall // Miami FL

The hammocks is a large community and a very nice area to live, it has Single Family Homes, Estate Houses, Townhouses, Villas and Condos, it has a Gorgeous lake with a trail to walk (8 miles trail) and enjoy all year long, they have Club Houses, Pools and Recreational Facilities, Also they have a Parking Area for your Boat or your RV. Prices of the properties are very affordable. It is near to Schools, Shopping, Restaurants, Parks, Supermarkets, etc Also they have an Ice Skating Arena, yes we do not have snow here in Miami, But you can learn ice skating here too.

A unique and beautiful place

Having lived in South Florida all my life (and mostly in the south end), I am picky about my neighborhoods. After reviewing all our options, my wife and I chose the Hammocks, for the relative cost of housing, safety, and convenience. Yes, it is well west of the city centers, but the Hammocks is an oasis, and is becoming its OWN city center. Businesses and restaurants are springing up everywhere, and we have everything we need close by: Home Depot, CVS, Publix, a couple of nice bar/grill spots, and cool wine bar called Vascillate, and many other spots are walking distance from our home in Spicewood. And what's not to love about the lake? Peaceful and serene walks around the shaded, well-landscaped lake areas are a great stress reliever. I recommend the Hammocks to anyone. I give it four stars--Once the county builds the Kendall Parkway, and traffic can go west and then north, there will be great relief on the current traffic on Kendall Drive and 104 st, and then I'll up my rating to 5 stars!
