The Preserve At Pecan Creek

This area was a decent neighborhood when I-35 was more of a lonely 2 lane highway. But the recent I-35 expansion has really tarnished the area. Traffic noise has always been a bit of an issue but now its really noisy. Big semis rumble along deep into the night, which is actually the noisiest time of day as a result. There is a constant roar of traffic noise at almost all times, unless there is bad weather or a traffic backup. And recently there has also been a major increase in airplane noise, with jets flying over the area every few minutes, which really hasnt been an issue until lately. Terrible zoning and city planning by government officials. Cant reccomend the area really unless you like to feel like youre living next to white water rapids, and like wearing earplugs all the time even indoors.
