My child has finished 6-8th grade. I have been so happy with the challenges, encouragement, and creativity that he got in each grade from most of his teachers! I had a tad trouble with communication, but no news is good news from their end. And that just means teaching comes first and that they aren't on the computer checking emails! It's a good thing!

The teachers are kind and have the best interest of the kids at heart however the homework load is excessive and exhausting. They are not in compliance with the federal exercise requirements and do not appear to have any intention to do so. My child has had a less than stellar experience with the chorus teacher who appears disorganized. Overall, we are content with the school but as with most schools, there are some teachers that are better than others. The younger ones seem to be less interested in hearing from parents and are not really aware of the kids work/life balance (or seem to care)
