Towne Ranch

Towne Ranche is a residential neighborhood comprised largely of ranch-style homes on quarter acre lots with mature trees. It’s in the center of Claremont in between Foothill Boulevard and the Foothill Freeway, putting most of San Bernardino and eastern Los Angeles County within a 40-minute drive. The Claremont Colleges, routinely recognized as some of the best and most selective liberal arts colleges in the US, are 5 minutes away. Local public transportation consists of bus lines that run along Foothill Boulevard and Base Line Road, and a Metrolink rail station in Downtown Claremont which links the city to Downtown Los Angeles. Towne Ranch is a good neighborhood for casual walking, jogging, or bicycling, but residents rely on their cars for most errands. Condit Elementary and Claremont High School are adjacent to Towne Ranch and El Roble Intermediate School is several blocks away on North Mountain Avenue.
