The community has a swimming pool with a small clubhouse. The pool features a roomy patio area that’s great for relaxing in a lounge chair after a cooling swim. Brumby and Wheeler are STEM-certified schools which meet or exceed high standards for the teaching of science, technology, engineering, and math curriculums.
When touring the area around the Towns At Breton Ridge, it’s really hard to miss SunTrust Park, the new home of the Atlanta Braves. The park’s next-door neighbor is the Battery, a mixed-use development with upscale shops and restaurants. It’s also home to the Coca-Cola Roxy, a music venue that regularly features top-tier musical acts. On the opposite side of I-285 is the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre which also hosts a lot of musical acts as well as the Atlanta Opera, comedians, and other national touring acts. Along Cobb Parkway are quite a few shopping malls with practically every retailer imaginable. Their dining options range from fast food to casual upscale. There’s also a large movie theater just off the parkway about two miles from the community. For those who need to spend some time in some green space, there’s a Chattahoochee River recreation area nearby that is ideal for bicycling, fishing, and picnicking. Golfers have two driving ranges and golf courses just minutes away on Windy Hill Road.
