The school community is welcoming, caring, clean and innovative in programming. It is the only Elementary in AISD with a media and Performing Arts program.

5 Stars. I couldn't be more pleased with this school. The programs and administrative staff are wonderful. Principal Moore and the teaching staff genuinely want their students to excel.

This school is amazing. Our son has had terrible experiences at two other local schools and the staff at Campbell has been so great to work with. They have helped reignite his love of learning and are very understanding.

Principal Moore is on a mission. He has turned this school into something amazing! I cannot say enough about his vision for the kids (his "scholars") and for the staff (the "dragonleaders"). Each morning, the kids produce a news program which is broadcast to each classroom. The students are the on camera and behind the scenes team. The art and music teachers, Abeyta and Mendoza, are wonderful. Last year, I saw an IG video of the kids in art class listening to Coltrane. In addition to the joy of listening, Mr. Abeyta would later have the kids create their own Blue Note covers. He was just subtly introducing the concept. He is teaching the kids about silkscreening and about Basquiat. He has artists Skype in to talk to the scholars. I adore everyone from the office staff, to the custodians to the wonderful Miss Williams, who assists parents with such grace. They truly care about these kids and it shows in how far this school has come academically. I moved my son from Pease and I couldn't be happier. Same small classes, but with more African American kids, an outstanding African American male principal and a diverse staff. My son has returned to his winning ways (more confident, G&T) and I couldn't be happier.
