The school has a lot of challenges facing them on a daily basis but the teachers are amazing. They are truly going above and beyond to help the kids that want to succeed do so. I have a child with a learning disability and the teachers come in early for study sessions, work with the students at lunch or even stay late to let the students catch up. If the student shows initiative, the teachers are willing to help them succeed. The overall rating of the school is not an adequate score. The teachers are amazing.

Used to be a good school. Still could be if Georgetown ISD would redraw their middle school boundary lines.

Horrible. Kids are allowed to get away with murder

Used to be an excellent school with outstanding teachers, attentive administrators, and hard working students. This school was academically recognized as above average, teacher's time and input was valued, and students flourished. Not any more. Around 95% of the faculty left, including teachers, vice principals, counsellors, etc...An over-emphasis on data, state test prep, shuffling paperwork, and multiple weekly after hours meetings has created an over burdened and disgruntled staff, and loss of motivating lesson plans. Students are over managed and treated like elementary students: assigned lunchroom seating, no before and after school freedom to chat with friends, play basketball, or just walk around. They are lined up like cattle and forced to sit on the floor of their grade's hall. No getting up, moving, or moving to sit near friends. No recess during lunch to relax and move around before heading into afternoon classes. What used to be a solid school is now a leaky and sinking ship.
