The teachers are great but whom ever makes up the punishments is definitely unprofessional.

Garcia Elementary, Just want to start off my saying im so glad school almost out come friday (last day of school) im withdrawing my kids!!! Horrible school, ladys at the front desk are absolutely GETTO, RUDE, NEVER SAY GOOD MORNING NOTHING! we moved to Grand Prairie 4mths ago this school is honestly around the corner, but the teachers dont care they don't teach anything simply very unorganized! Sad to say but i hate this school and my kids do too....

The comments below are absolutely correct. The teachers there are miserable and it is because the principal creates an environment of fear and distrust. The children are treated like prisoners and the only thing that matters are the standard test scores at the end of the year. Do your child a favor and pull him/her out asap.

I don't know where to start. This school is one of the worse schools in the district. The teachers are rude and there's no leadership. It all starts from the principal down to the teachers. I seen the teachers being rude to the kids I even confront him and report it to the principal. I had to transfer my kid to Juan Seguin elementary. Seguin is a BIG difference then garcia. I will not recommended garcia. They don't spend time to help your child improve in his/her education.
