Natha Howell Elementary School

The teachers are dedicated and the principal is very understanding. Everyone works well as a team and the culture is all about learning. I was upset when my little one moved on to middle school. This school is making great transformations and its requested a lot by parents. The new staff members are serious about teaching. As a parent and volunteer- you can't go wrong.

My school is a better place and I love what I do. I appreciate my opportunities and the students are wonderful. We work very hard to make the learning experience fun and meaningful. The campus is dual language which means that both English and Spanish is taught and embedded in our learning. The concepts are higher level and the expectations have increased. Come visit us-

This school should be shut down by the state the children are learning nothing unless its in spanish.Walking into this school is like walking into a facility in mexico evertything is in spanish only the caucasian teachers speak english the spanish teachers are hardly understandable when speaking english.My daughter is in 1st grade and cannot read yet,everything she has learned thus far has been taught at home,my son is in 3rd grade and is asked daily by the teacher to help the other children in his class with their reading and math,he is not a tutor he is a student in the same grade.nothing american is celebrated at this school only spanish holidays are studied by the children,this is absolutly the worse school in the FWISD!

I have subbed in this school. I find it to be a great school with great teachers. Yes, it is predominantly hispanic as that is the neighborhood it serves. But I found even in the kindergarten classes there is emphasis on English and the children are learning. I found excellent educational processes, and happy children with good caring staff who KNOW the children. I will gladly sub at Natha Howell again. My only concern was the dismissal process which greatly needs improvement.l
