Get a dose of southern hospitality while visiting some of Houston’s most beloved attractions. Places like Space Center Houston, Houston Arboretum and Nature Center, Downtown Aquarium, and the Houston Zoo are great things to do and see for the whole family. Houston Culture

The city has become an international cultural hotspot thanks to the Houston Museum District. There are a variety of art galleries, museums, performing venues, festivals, and multicultural events that make Houston a vibrant melting pot. Representing different ethnicities and cultural backgrounds, visitors can check out the Houston Museum of African American Culture, Czech Cultural Center, Asia Society Texas Center, and Gente de Teatro. It’s no wonder this city has nearly 90 languages spoken by its population.

Houston Transportation

The METRORail is Houston’s leading urban transit system. Connecting passengers to 23 miles of central Houston as well as popular destinations throughout the city, getting around town is easy. Everyone can hop on board the METRORail service to visit stops along Midtown, Museum District, Texas Medical Center, or Downtown. Houston also provides local bus service throughout the area. If you feel like driving around Houston, be aware that some freeways have at least two names but easily intersect to get you to where you want to go. Bush Intercontinental Airport is also available for domestic and international travel.
