Block House Creek Elementary School

Worst school ever. Very judgemental Of the parents and students. If you don’t fit into their cookie cutter parenting they will make your life a living hell.

Old school neighborhood school where kids ride their bikes to school & parents visit at lunch. Not much diversity, but there is enough kids learn to work with others.

I love Blockhouse Elementary School! They have the nicest and sweetest teachers and staff ever and our son is so happy there.

This school lost three of its best teachers last year and before that lost an awesome vice principal. Why? Dr. Cady. The good thing is that these teachers are happier where they are now. The bad thing is that there are few remaining stellar teachers and those are probably thinking of moving on. Much like a clique those parents who are in the "in crowd" at school have very little difficulty when they need something from the school but the rest...prepare for a battle. That is a pity because concerned parents should all be treated equally. Dr. Cady may be outside smiling every morning but THAT is not what makes a good administrator. There is a great deal more to it than smiling that you do not see. If your child is free spirited, doesn't fall into lock step easily or has some special need, this may not be the best choice of schools. If you are a parent who likes to know what's going on or disagrees with anyone, this is definitely not the best choice of schools.
