Liberty Hill J High School

Excellent! We researched schools in central Texas extensively. The very best part of this school and all of LHISD is the clarity of expectations, and the belief that each child is accountable for his or her actions.

Moved here from Leander. Staff is rude. Teachers don't care. 6:30 AM bus pick up for 3 schools (Elementary, Intermediate, Jr High). Classes not given even though they qualified in Leander (Quest, Band, AP). I don't know how this school district got such a high rating, they have a long way to go to be anywhere near the Leander ISD standard. Wish I would have known before I bought my house here, and I based my home purchase on these ratings.

The scho is full of bullies and people who think what you look like is importent the staff dont help i do not recommend this school.

Honestly, If I could give 0 stars I would. The education may be 'decent' but your child would be better off in Leander. I used to attend Liberty Hill, as well as one of my friends. We both had to transfer due to the racist, homophobic students bullying while the teachers did nothing about it. Unless you're a white, athletic, and popular you wouldn't make it.
