Was so excited to get my children here. As many others believe we thought this was the best place for our kiddos to be. Reality .... BH has the same issues as every other district.

It is honestly trying to make all mindless drones

At a middle school football game, we lost and the lights were turned off on the visitor side before they had a chance to get out of the stands. Never have I been more embarrassed that my children go to this school. It seems like academics are not as important as sports to this school system as a whole.

This is the best school I've ever been to or ever seen! I see the reviews about drama and things like that, but newsflash! That's any high school! And the things about the teachers being rude, they are just doing their jobs first of all, so if the student doesn't take care of their stuff then it is not the teachers fault for having to get onto them. There have also been reviews about us being full of ourselves. Is it our fault that we take pride in what we do? Is there something wrong with saying that we can be good at something? I'm sorry but that sounds a little ridiculous. This is the best school district I've ever seen, but some students are not good with public schooling, so they might be better in a private school or homeschooling. As far as academics, we are ahead of the curve in most things, and it is true that some students have trouble because we have a rigorous pace. But, if the student is not being challenged, that means that they are not in the correct courses to fully expand their minds. This is the best high school experience, but only if you make it that. Remember that. If you expect great things then you will not be unsatisfied.
