I'm very pleased with the leadership and communication the admin staff and teachers offer to the family. It's a wonderful school. My daughters reading has advance tremendously with her attending Snow Heights. The location is wonderful. All around a great school.

I absolutely LOVE Snow Heights. We came in at 4th grade and are very pleased. There is a real sense of community in the school, with many activities throughout the year that engage the student and their family. From a super fun sock hop to a fall festival to a talent show to reading night to a fine arts day, the school does a lot to keep the family engaged and the kids learning. My son had a problem with bullying at his previous school and has not had any issues at Snow Heights; whenever issues did begin to arise the teachers took care of it immediately. The majority of the kids here stick up for one another as well and do not tolerate bullying. This is a small, public school with a tight knit sense of community. I wish my son could have attended from Kindergarten, I just LOVE this school.

My daughter completed kindergarten this year at Snow Heights. I volunteered regularly at the school and was always pleased with what I saw. The school is small and the kids are known by the staff of a first name basis. There were lots of opportunities for parents and grandparents to be involved in the academic programs as well as fun activities like the Polar Bash. This school has high academic ratings but equally important there is a strong emphasis on developing quality character. We love the staff and their commitment to excellence.

I agree that this school needs to add diversity to it's staff. In this diverse district the students have to relate with their teachers on a common level. We have to make sure our students are able to see themselves in the teacher. It's hard to convince a child what's possible if it is not shown to them. The small community and student teacher ratio are great, just not enough. I would suggest this school and district to friends with the warning, "Be vigilant in making the difference you want to see here".
