My son had a great experience in his first year. It's a multicultural campus where kids all tend to get along. Effective anti-bullying campaigns and great concert band program (4th place in the State!)

The principal shouldn’t be doing things like that.

The teachers are supportive and responsive. I think the response time for a counselor getting back to parents in less than two weeks in regards to questions needs improvement. The staffs' attitude at the front desk could be more pleasant. The school is not a prison, but looking at the expressions on their faces makes one feel like they are working for one. I question how they behave with the kids if this is what they are like dealing with parents?

This school advanced Pre-AP curriculum is very misleading. Basically, the curriculum is taught on grade level with a few interesting projects here and there. Most parents probably do not know what an advanced curriculum should look like including teachers. There is not enough money for an advanced curriculum that is equivalent to a private education. Hundredths of students are sharing books in one subject. This is why the students cannot take the books home. Stop lying Pearland ISD to parents to try to convince parents you are offering a quality education with all sorts of play on words when you are not.
