Castleberry Elementary School

Hate this school! Don't send your kids here!! Hopefully my son get accepted to fwisd school of choice program next year. My son teacher yells at him and he afraid to go to school! Teacher said that he cannot ask question if he does not know how to do the work he is suppose to work independently . He is a 1st grade student. Hate this school

It was a very rough experience. Bullying is a huge problem. We ended up having to move for my son's safety. The teachers and staff are not very educated on special needs and education. It was very hard to find support in this area. The only reason I gave it to wish because they've made the best efforts to move forward, there is still a whole lot of work to do

We transferred here after moving back to DFW during Spring Break. This is the second public school my son has gone to. He absolutely loves it. The teachers are amazing and work hard with their kids. The principal and vice principal are very down to earth and communication is great with the school.

I would rate this school lower by it won't allow me. I'm a former teacher at IMMS. I was run out by the principal and the HR department. They didn't state a reason but blamed me for the major failures of other staff and administration. They went as far as cutting my paycheck in half. This isd is a joke and they need to be investigated... Improper uses of grant monies to changing state test scores. The number of teachers run off there is close to 150 out of roughly 225 in three years. This ISD needs to be shut down!!
