My son loved that school and the teachers would always give good advice on how to improve his skills

1 out 5 stars. The office staff doesn't care about the children. If your child has a learning disability they will send him to the office for everything and call you at work to basically tattle on the child. Little things like sleeping in class. Which I don't support but what can I do from work? And to top it off they don't even let you talk to the child! Second if you have to come up there and do anything enroll or unenroll your child they act like it's a henderance to them. Lord forbid you have a question.you met with a condescending tone that you should know everything already. Homework wise. Most of the kids homework is computer based. If you dont have a computer at home then their out of luck. The teachers have been wonderful. Good communication and the children love them. That's the only reason id give this school a 1 instead of a 0.

I was a student at Linda Herrington in 1st and 2nd grade. It was the best 2 years ever. Then I moved and went to Deep wood for the remaining 3 years. Now I go to Chisholm Trail middle school.

Though the years, as a parent, I have seen 2nd and 3rd grade struggle. The teachers seemed experienced, and knowledgable, however, there has been a lack leadership. Last year, I thought that 2nd grade was doing well, especially with the bilingual team, but this year, unfortunately, very disappointing. I wish I could transfer my children but I am zoned to this school. Maybe it's not the teachers, but the lack of administration.
