Poor, based on the observations I have noted, as cited above.

This Intermediate school focuses more on what is tested than real-life skills. They also give students a "conduct" grade. This is a grade that starts at 100 every grading period and the students loose either 2 or 5 points for each infraction, depending on the severity of the choice. While that doesn't bother me so much, it's the fact that there is NO way for the student to bring their grade back up. Isn't everyone entitled to a bad week? This is a cumulative grade that can ONLY go down. I have a problem with that. I also have a problem with the lack of writing that my child has done. There's been no creative writing, no stories, and no poems. Or at least none have come home, but when I ask my student about it, he looks at me like I'm crazy. Most of the teachers are good; they care. However, there are some (like anywhere) that seem to single certain students out.

This school is superior to most others they take teaching very serious and give alot of individual attention.

Great school! Very friendly teachers and principals. Can't speak highly enough of this staff. Outstanding!
