Kazen has some pretty ugly statistics that make it appear unrealistically terrible. I am a teacher at Kazen and absolutely love it. The kids can be tough, but it's MIDDLE SCHOOL. My coworkers are phenomenal and have helped our students make gains on scores increasingly in the past few years. We have an amazing principal and wonderful assistant principals who help us keep behaviors positive and rewarding. There will always be those few situations that ruin the beauty of a well-oiled system--which is what we've come to build here at Kazen.
