Last year was our first year here. We had a wonderful experience with our teacher and school staff! Our teacher was truly invested in our child's growth and development. She went above and beyond to make sure our child and family were supported throughout the entire year!

Don't bother sending your children to school here unless they are perfect little minions. They are only interested in discipline, not learning. As the new vice principle told me " We would like to discipline your special needs child more, but we are not allowed to by law!"

This school seems TOXIC towards a child's mental education, a total RESTAFFING or SHUT DOWN needs to happen, many of my child's friends parents are taking their child out of KOENNECKE ELEMENTARY, when a child goes from LOVING school to wanting to miss school, something is wrong... 1 EXAMPLE of many: The school (like any should) has a "0 tolerance" towards bullying, there is anti-bully & tell a teacher/someone posters all around, BUT when my child is bullied (for the past 5 years there, K-4th), they were told 1) to "TOUGHEN UP & 2) got written up for being a "tattle-tail"... SERIOUSLY ?? This has affected my child to the point of "standing up" for themselves now when confronted by these bullies, taking things into their own hands (which should NEVER happen), they get sent to principles office, we go to the parent conferences (with no resolve in sight) & we get calls from the principal & assistant principal threatening to send our child to ALTERNATIVE SCHOOL because they have started to "toughen up" as they were chastised to do, they created a monster & i now have to de-brainwash my child back to "normal" by taking them to child therapists & personally working with my child ensuring them not all schools are like this & how you SHOULD tell someone when bullied, not to lash out... the school/program only seems to PROTECT the bully. In all, NOT A SAFE ENVIRONMENT for a child, my child went from LOVING school to fighting with them to get them to go, when the staff starts blaming the victim & praising the bully, its time to rethink your schooling choices...

I do not like this school at all. The principal is not very good. The teachers have problems sending things home and refuse to admit when they are at fault. I feel that they could try a little harder to care about the children that attend this school
