Terrible experience, this school (and district) don't promote inclusion, on the contrary they will fight parents who seek for accommodations for the students. The school supports segregated classrooms for kids with disabilities; teachers won't advocate for the students.

My child struggled before moving here. The teachers and administration are top-notch. They are very attentive, accommodating, communicative and patient.

Seems like a lot of rules to follow both for kids & parents. It's difficult to get to know any children & families unless you join the PTO to gain access for a directory. It's district policy so I guess it's not the school itself. Attendance policy is strict too. People seem friendly but as a newcomer I feel it's hard to express your views unless you agree with the majority. It doesn't feel welcoming as much as I thought it would. However it's still early in the year, maybe my opinion will change by the end of the year. For now, I'm more underwhelmed than happy with the experience thus far. I heard great things about this school, hopefully my opinion will change.

Creekside Elementary School has not been the most positive place for my children. Sadly, it starts with the administration. Favoritism runs rampant from the top down at this school. When major issues have been brought to administration's attention, their main goal is to deflect the issue and turn it around so that it is not owned by the school. Bullying for instance has been a big issue at this school and when brought up, the victim was told to read books to enable themselves and the bully ends up getting a 'peacekeeper" award. Things are so backward here! But if you contribute money to this school, all will be overlooked. The education is sub-par to what we have experienced in other school districts, but above par for many other students who have not been as fortunate to attend schools in the United States. Sadly, my family doesn't recommend this school, unless you can keep your eyes closed and not speak up for your child. Ratings don't provide the full picture.
