I am the current principal, Kirk Eggleston. The score of 6/10 is concerning as it reflects a low (and inaccurate) Equity Score. Our Gap Group students (Black, Hispanic, Economically Disadvantaged, ELL, & Students with Disabilities) are ALL meeting or exceeding 2016-2017 AMO targets. Our teachers effectively differentiate instruction for the needs of every student with a growth centered approach to learning. We challenge and engage our students, partner with parents, and take pride in our diversity. We are an inclusive school with over 20 languages spoken and nearly 40 nationalities represented in our student body of 705. High expectations for all have earned CTES the Virginia Performance Index Excellence Award four years in a row!
