We are new to the area and our daughter is doing great at Moss Nuckols. The whole County public school system is engaging and excited about what they do. You don't get this from enormous school system like what we were coming from. My daughter was struggling in math and after sending one email to her teacher, she started getting extra help and had the opportunity to stay late the whole fall once per week, with the county providing buses once it was over. The PTA is strong and the school spirit is strong. Very impressed overall, not to mention the school is newer and very clean.

I have 2 children at this school and I couldn’t be happier with how well they are progressing each week. The school has fantastic spirit and keeps the students very motivated and excited to come each day.

I am not impressed with this schools special education department. They need more experienced teachers who can handle students on the spectrum. Discipline is a problem since the code of conduct only takes typical students behavior into consideration.

We are new to the area & the school. My biggest problem with this school is the staff. There are two main girls in the office, in my experience they seem to "fake" nice most of the time, not genuine. Then comes the whispering & gossiping, everyones a target. Then there's the principal & vice principal. She is overbearing & the VP is sooo passive; he seems to have his head in the clouds. He never makes eye contact or even greets you in passing, usually looks away or down at the floor...weird. Too strong, too weak...they need balance. Academically my son is doing fine but dealing with the staff is exhausting. In talking to other parents, this is the norm here at Moss-Nuchols with no change in sight.
