We have thoroughly enjoyed having our daughter at Rural Point. Her teachers push her to her best potential and she loves going to school there. They score very high in testing as well as model and teach kindness to all students. I am proud to have all my children attend this great school.

I am generally "ok" with the school. Some of the teachers are AMAZING where others leave much to be desired. The art and music teachers are very in-tune with the students and parents. They are truly the "rock stars" of this school. The principal seems to be attentive and the office staff usually doesn't seem too bothered by a "drop in". The parent involvement seems to be sorely lacking, at least in my child's class.

Excellent school with caring teachers and administrators. The principal is great and very involved. My child has ADHD and I felt they really had his learning and interest at heart.

This is a very political school and seems to be run on a buddy system... There are many teachers (who work at this school) kids who attend this school on a variance rather than attend the school in which district they live. It appears that these kids get preference over others including placement into GT programs where they get extra help. Also many of the room moms are friends of the teachers if not substitute teachers. The PTO is surely a political institute. I have tried to contact the group several times to get involved and they will not even return my calls or emails. When our daughter started at rural point 4 years ago it was really nice but we have watched it decline since then... Our biggest issue is a lack of communication with the teachers. We could go on and on but just remember it is a public school and you cannot expect but so much from these institutions...
