There is no accomodation for different learning speeds. They do not play to students' strengths. Administration and Staff do not know what policies they have, they selectively enforce them, and if a parent questions this, they refer the parent to the handbook. Except they also admit the handbook is never distributed and cannot be produced on upon request. (If you want to see a comedy of errors, go into the office and ask to see it). Communication is abysmal.Students are held to standards that are not communicated. If the students don't achieve these elusive standards, they are punished.Parents are not notified of bullying incidents. Favoritism abounds. Least importantly, but still notable, they refused to repair or clean a bathroom this year that smelled so strongly of waste that it could be smelled the entire length of the hallway where it is located. This particular PTA has an operational budget over $80,000 (per the last meeting I attended) which has well over $30 k which is held in reserves each year. Yet, they decided to fund raise the entire amount to renovate this bathroom (which, despite raising the money, they still have not repaired. Where did this cash go?) Maybe they use the money to expand the playground fence, which, for some reason, they felt had to moved four inches on each side?We moved to this district specifically to attend Mary Munford and we regret this decision. Hoping to either move or homeschool next year.
