Gainesboro Elementary School

Sad, that the entire value of a superb facility and staff, is reduced to a simple numerical representation of comparative SOL scores. There are far too many variables for such a simplistic evaluation. Do yourself (and your children) a favor, and visit the facility and staff before writing this school off your list. There is far more to the education experience, than standardized testing can ever capture. I've had two children pass through this school (one current) and have nothing but high praise for every element of this facility. Administrators, teachers, maintenance, transportation, have all provided superb service to the community. In every facet, I've always had the impression that my child's best interests were foremost in the efforts of all. As a parent, I could not have asked for a better elementary school experience. Wonderful school with an amazing staff! They have made both of my daughters feel safe and happy in this school and I will always be so grateful to the staff for always doing more than they have to for the students and their families.
