In addition to the many events within the community of Valley Ranch itself, the parks and recreation department of Irving provides many opportunities to get out of the house and have some fun. A host of sports leagues are offered for youth and adults alike, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, gymnastics, soccer, and more. A comprehensive aquatics program offers residents of Irving opportunities for swim lessons, synchronized swimming, and lifeguard training.
