Quietest community I have ever lived in

Feels really safe, too. Proximity to Dulles International is not a concern, there is really very little flyover activity, mostly just on weekends. Grounds are well-maintained and there are very pretty walking trails and Lake Ann is nearby. Little to no traffic noise. Lots of trees. I am on the second floor so I don't worry about squeaky floors above, but I am pleasantly surprised at how peaceful it is. No noise to speak of from neighboring units. Not perfect, the buildings are old, but it is well-managed and reasonably well-maintained. I was concerned about using a heat pump, but had no problems at all this winter.

Loud creaky floors makes it difficult to sleep if you live below someone. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
