Waterset

I am a Waterset Resident and have been here 4 years. A huge selling point into this community at the landing was that the new amenities they would be building "a swimming pool with slides". That was a selling point for the vase majority of homeowners in Phase 1 & 2. They did build the amenity however 2 years after it was promised but little did anyone know that it was not going to be for Phase 1 & 2, but phase 3. Imagine how livid many homeowners are at this point that we were lied too. With that said we are able to use the pool for the time being but the limitations on the times are very limited and geared toward the stay at home parents only! SO this amenity will not be long lived for those of us in the first 2 phases. The HOA and CDD also pick and choose who gets violation letters and who does not! Nothing in here is managed on the same playing field. Very disappointed! They also changed the bi-laws after the sale of the home and NO you were not grandfathered in. So it was kind of like a bait and switch! Don't let them fool you, you are as good as the last sale! Make sure you get everything in writing. Aside from what I have written above which is huge don't get me wrong its just OK. Nothing that any other cookie cutter builder does not currently offer. The turnover in homes is tremendous, so once you get to know your neighbors they are moving.
