Weathersfield

The parks scattered amongst the homes of Weathersfield are what make the neighborhood great. There's always something to do and it's always close. Parks like Terada, Pochet, and Oak Hollow Conservation are all fantastic open areas for general use and idle relaxation, whereas parks like Campanelli, Jaycee, and Dooley feature tons of baseball diamonds, playgrounds and ample open greenspace. Atcher Park contributes a whopping six soccer/football fields to the sporting mix in addition to a large playground. Atcher Island is probably the most exciting asset in the area as it is a water park. It contains a massive, resort-style pool with walk-in beach entry and splash towers. Another smaller pool with beach entry is right next to it and is perfect for the little ones. There's two water slides and a whole splash and play area. It's the best place for families to escape the summer heat and spend quality time together. The primary park of the community is Bock Park. It features a Neighborhood Center that has two pools available for residents and for renting/events. The facility also doubles as a preschool and host space for classes, parties, and programs. There are two tennis courts, a basketball court, two baseball diamonds, playgrounds, open greenspace, and a picnic area. The park has it all with parking to boot.
