West Ashley has plenty of natural space to enjoy a Sunday outdoors. Magnolia Plantation & Gardens is the longest-running public garden in America and is one of the most beautiful. West Ashley Park is a great place to play sports or go fishing, but your pooch might prefer Bridgewater Dog Park.

Most residents of West Ashley get around by car. I-526 is easily accessible from the neighborhood. While some bus service is available in the area, public transit is not extensive.
