Residents of Whitney might spend a Sunday shopping at The Galleria at Sunset or enjoying breakfast with friends at one of the local buffets. The Whitney Ranch Aquatic Center is a great family-friendly place to cool off at the pool, take dance classes, or exercise. The very popular Cowabunga Bay water park is also just minutes from town.
Whitney offers a price point for all types of buyers. Those on a moderate budget can live out here comfortably, but those who want to splurge have options too. This area feels both urban and suburban, and the real estate market reflects that. From condos to single-family homes, there is a wide variety of options scattered through all walks of Whitney.
There are a lot of freeway choices to get to other parts of the city including the 515, 95, and 215. There are some walkable areas within some of the communities, but its best to get around by car, as sidewalks aren't consistent throughout town. A bus route along Boulder Highway offers rides to Downtown Las Vegas.
