We pulled our children out of the school district because of a serious bullying problem one of my children was having. Tried talking to the teachers, the principal, and the district with nothing ever done.

I grew up at a fantastic school system in Fairfield County, Connecticut and always hoped my children could attend schools as amazing as mine were. I felt like I had won the lottery the day we closed on a home in Greendale and enrolled in Canterbury. My daughter is in first grade and faced some challenges at the beginning of the year being the new kid from out of state, but the support of her teacher and even the fellow parents has been unbelievable. My daughter loves school now, has become a fluid and confident reader and pounds out her math homework like she was born knowing how to do it. I am a teacher myself, but I only supplement the amazing curriculum she is learning. She goes on fantastic field trips, uses Ipads and MacBooks on a daily basis in the classroom. One day I volunteered for "genius hour" and got to work with students composing music using Garage Band. This school is the best.

This school is one of the best schools in wisconsin. You should go to this school. The kids and teachers are so nice, you cant explain it in words.

As my child got older I noticed that teachers had an arrogant attitude toward parents and were condescending/sarcastic toward students. When I walked in the halls to drop something off in my child's classroom, I overheard conversations about other families and students that should have been private. I also overheard some upper level teachers talking and laughing about something a student said. I wondered if students overheard these things too. We eventually transferred schools because I was too afraid of backlash against my student and us as parents if we said anything.
