They do a great job of accommodating student needs and having children learn at their own pace.

Johnson Creek is amazing. We currently reside in Watertown and I took advantage of Open Enrollment to get my children into this school so they did not have to attend Watertown schools. The teachers are caring and dedicated to communicating to parents that take an interest in their child's education. It's nice to walk into a school and have administration and teachers know immediately who I am and welcome me. The thing with small schools like Creek is that if you just drop off and pick up your child and go to the conferences, you're unlikely to feel like you belong. It's a very parent volunteer oriented school and parents have to take the initiative to get involved. If you want a quality education where there is approximately 12-15 students per teacher, then I highly recommend it.

Johnson Creek Elementary, our little one is a special needs child. He is receiving more than we have even put in his IEP. I have always been fortunate to have access to not only the staff but the Principal. Never have we felt that our boy wasn't receiving all that they can possibly do to help him be all that he can be. We feel blessed to be in this school. We pray that the referendum goes through because the building is in desparate need of help, but the people inside have it all together.

As an alumni and a parent of children in this school district, I would strongly discourage any parent from sending their children to this school system! The only reason we have not taken our children out of the school is because there is no transportation provided to send them else where, as my husband and my work schedules run over the end of the school day! Aside from havin some GREAT teachers, whose turn over rate is astounding I might add, the administration is AWFULL! Superintendent and principal particularly in the elementery is rarely friendly and at times arrogent and condescending! The office staff always looks at me like a deer in headlights when I go to them with any questions. Which shows the lack of communication and teamwork! I cannot ever seem to reach a live person on the phone in the middle school/ highschool office. The safety in regards to the building itself is HORRID! Remember the roof cave in a few years back? Goes to show you how the maintanance staff keeps up with its building safety inspections. Yet there doesn't seem to be enough people per-capita to support the tax burrden the new school would bring about. As far as cleanliness, I wont even go there!
